The late Efthimios V. Gavrielides arrived in the United States in 1920. He married Maria Ourailoglou, and their children include Magdalini, Alexandros, Savvas (Sam), Steven, and Dimitri. He originally lived in Detroit, Michigan.

His son, Sam (Savvas) Gabriel and his wife Kathy live in the greater Los Angeles, California area.
